Welcome to Omaha Culture.com

Many people believe that Omaha Nebraska is a boring place to live.   There is no excitement, nothing ever happens here, we aren’t diverse and we have no culture.  Many times I have been asked ‘You live in Omaha . . . so what’s it like to have a corn field in you backyard?’ Check out the Podcast to find out!  UPDATE: the podcast is on hiatus until I finish school in TV/Video Production at Metro Community College Editor: Mark Wegener

We live in a great town and Omaha is a great place to live,  dynamic, vibrant, thrilling and creative.  We have world class symphonies, operas, zoo, theaters, museums and Omaha Nebraska culture is diverse as diverse gets.   We have all races and cultures of people and experiences.  It’s exciting  that something is always happening be it:  concert, fireworks, a parade, heated debate, or a world premier theatrical event.

It’s my goal to help everyone, with me, explore or wonderful city that is Omaha Nebraska.  I plan through this site and the associated Podcast (click above) to enlighten everyone that visits Omaha Culture.com about the great goings on in Omaha Nebraska through:  events, music, history, interviews, political discussion, tours and reviews.

The style of the Podcast and site will be ever changing like Omaha Nebraska culture itself.  So check back often and please give us suggestions and subscribe via Itunes or here.
